This is me and my mum. She was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer 6 years ago when we were living in Cyprus. She had an operation, then had to constantly fly back to England to receive both Radio and Chemotherapy. She used a cold cap, which meant she didn’t lose her hair. All was good. Then, about three month before she was going to receive the all-clear, she was diagnosed again. Same thing, same place. It was horrible. She then had a masectomy, and more sessions of chemotherapy. This time she lost all of her hair. Now, she’s back at work and doing fine, and we’re going to do the Race For Life together in aid of cancer research. My Mum doesn’t get enough credit for how amazing she is, so I thought I’d take this oppurtunity to show how much I appreciate everything she does for me.
